Musical Expression

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not." - Dr. Seuss, from The Lorax

Music is a powerful form of expression, able to reach diverse audiences. With beats that you tap and lyrics that get stuck in your head, music can transform audiences and passive listeners into vibrant, active participants. From Woodie Guthrie and Willie Nelson, to Jack Johnson and The Dave Matthews Band at Kokua Fest performing for environmental awareness, it's not new news that musicians are often activists and carry these passions into their music.

We'll be posting information relating to upcoming music venues that Big Blue Marble will be visiting, and the interviews conducted with music artists making an environmental and social impact.

For now check out the videos posted by musicians, environmentalists and activists making positive statements and changes through their art.
