Big Blue Marble is currently in the very beginning stages of our journey as a non-profit. Your donations and seed money go towards:

Video Editing Software: We believe in using creative mediums to educate others. Video is a powerful and universal tool to reach a broad and diverse spectrum of people.

Website Designer and Consultant: Currently this website is being run on the ground level by the organization's founder... we would like to get a pro in here!

Office and Operational Overhead Expenses: Paper, stamps, printer ink, computers, etc.

Educational Material Distribution Fees

Program Expenses: Localizing environmental issues is imperative for community involvement and education. Big Blue Marble collaborates with artists and plans community sustainable art events, designed to educate individuals on pressing environmental issues in their community and orchestrate community action.

Intern Stipends and Staff Salaries: Currently Big Blue Marble is run on a volunteer basis. Hiring full-time staff would allow us to fully meet our mission, plan more collaborative art events, and have a greater reach on our community and environment.

National Anthropological Study (2011): Funds for a cross-country study and documentary, researching the direct connection between environmental awareness and creativity.
